240 Years of Financial Leadership, Told in Light and Motion
At Bank of New York's headquarters, the executive suite isn’t just “the room where it happens”—it’s where a legacy, founded by Alexander Hamilton, is reimagined for a global, digital world.
Employees, clients and visitors step into a story that spans centuries and pulses with the data and decisions that define one of the world’s most influential financial institutions. Curved light strips, motion-driven content, and a digital story hall transform the space into a living expression of BNY’s history, values and impact.

The experience begins at reception, where layered wood and media-rich surfaces deliver dynamic content—from real-time data visualizations to global market narratives. Just beyond, the Story Hall features artifacts from BNY’s 240-year history. Transparent OLED displays animate the stories behind each object, creating a bridge between past and present.

In the 17th-floor auditorium, structural columns are wrapped in seamless 360º digital screens displaying live-generated trompe l’oeil patterns that subtly shift based on occupancy and event type—appearing architectural from a distance, and transforming into vibrant, dynamic surfaces for livestreams and presentations during events.
